Chris founded Phoenix Wharf on the belief that brands and spaces should work hand in hand to improve and inspire the human experience. With a finely tuned eye for detail and desire for excellence, Chris ensures the best possible work for our clients.
Emma Carter
Associate Creative Director
Emma is our spatial guru, able to visualise and effortlessly sketch solutions to any client challenge that comes her way. As Associate Creative Director, Emma pushes the team to stay curious and create brands and interiors that are beautiful, well-considered and original.
Liza Boutet
Account Director
Leading the client services team, Liza sees that each project has a balance between creative and commercial aspects. As our Account Director, Liza values usefulness and relationships above all. She strives to deliver simple solutions to alleviate our client’s short term headaches whilst keeping the projects on course to achieving long term goals.
Our business was founded on the principle of ‘Substance with Soul’. A creative studio of designers, strategists and artists, of big thinkers, inquisitive minds and detail obsessives. We are united by a shared belief and passion for people-centric design that balances design integrity and commercial viability, with a soulful heart.

Our project with The Bristol Loaf has been shortlisted for a Restaurant & Bar Design Award in the Europe – Cafe category.
Winners will be announced on the final day of Restaurant & Bar Design Week – 14th October 2021.
